Mubende Mines are situated in Uganda in the districts of Mubende and Karamoja. In June 2022 Uganda revealed that she discovered over 31 Metric tonnes of Gold with extractable pure Gold valued over US$12.8 trillion. However, before this gold find, mining operations have been taking place on a small scale in the districts of Karamoja and Mubende.
